Logitech has announced Spotlight 2 Advanced Presenter, a new presentation remote designed to go beyond simple slide control with haptics, digital highlighting tools, and a guided breathing experience for speakers
The device is aimed at people who present in meeting rooms, classrooms, hybrid meetings, and on stage. Logitech says the goal is to help presenters stay focused on the audience instead of looking down at the remote or returning to their laptop for common controls.
Public speaking is stressful for most people, and Logitech told us that 64% of presenters feel anxious before taking the stage, making confidence and control a key part of the Spotlight 2 experience.
The biggest change is a force-sensitive highlight button with haptic feedback. A soft press can show the digital pointer, while a harder press can trigger the selected highlight effect. Logitech says the different press levels provide different haptic feedback, helping presenters confirm the action by feel. The haptics are not just for comfort. They give presenters tactile confirmation, so they can highlight, point, or prepare themselves without looking away from the audience.
Spotlight 2 includes several digital highlighting modes: Spotlight, Squarelight, Magnify, Annotate, and Digital Pointer. These are useful because they can be seen by both in-person and remote audiences, unlike a traditional laser. However, Logitech still includes a Class 1 laser pointer for physical rooms, whiteboards, and projector screens. The laser is triggered with a long press on the side Action Button.
That Action Button can also be customized in the Logi Options+ app for shortcuts such as starting a presentation, blanking the screen, pausing, or muting. The default setting starts and exits presentation mode with a single click.
Another unusual feature is a guided breathing mode. Spotlight 2 uses haptic pulses, combined with visual cues in Logi Options+, to help presenters calm down before speaking. Logitech confirmed there is no dedicated smartwatch integration for stress tracking, though users can still use a smartwatch independently.
The hardware has been redesigned with a larger concave highlight button, side-by-side Back and Next buttons, and a more secure grip. It connects over Bluetooth or the included Logi Bolt USB-C receiver, works up to 100 feet away, and supports PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote, and Prezi across major platforms.
Battery life is rated at up to three months, while a one-minute charge provides up to three hours of presentation time.
Spotlight 2 will be available in Graphite and Sand globally, with Light Lilac and Black in select markets, and will be available at logitech.com for $129.99.
