He must use them to fight against the Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe) while grieving over his dead uncle and complicated relationships with his friend Harry Osborn (James Franco) and love interest, Mary Jane (Kirsten Dunst).

He must face off against Harry Osborn, who’s taken up the mantle of the Green Goblin to avenge his father’s death. Things get complicated when the symbiote infects another host to become Venom and teams up with the Sandman to take down Spider-Man. Our hero must battle both of them to rescue Mary Jane and get his life back on track.

The Amazing Spider-Man, helmed by Marc Webb, rebooted the franchise in 2012. This retelling of the origin story offered familiar plot beats with Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) getting powers after being bitten by a radioactive spider.

This time, he takes on the Lizard, a scientist who’s mutated into a violent reptilian monster after taking an experimental serum. It’s up to Spider-Man and his love interest, Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone), to find a cure and stop him from infecting the city with the chemical.

He must then stop the Vulture from hijacking a plane and stealing advanced tech destined for the new Avengers headquarters.

Spider-Man discovers arms dealers selling alien weapon technology while working as a vigilante, which puts him on a collision course with their boss, The Vulture (Michael Keaton).

2021’s No Way Home brings fan favorite characters from the previous Spider-Man iterations into the MCU for a mind-bending mashup. Peter Parker is disillusioned after his secret identity is revealed and asks Dr Strange to cast a spell to make everyone forget him.

Things don’t work out as planned, and the spell summons alternate versions of Peter Parker and the villains from their worlds.

Spider Noir

A fresh take on the web-slinger

Spider Noir Credit: Screen Rant

Spider-Noir is a unique take on the character set in 1930s New York. Ben Reilly (Nicolas Cage) is a down-and-out detective who gave up his superpowers when the love of his life died. He’s taking small jobs and doing his best to live a quiet life with no responsibility.

Things change, and he’s forced into taking up the mantle of The Spider and return to action when the city is facing new threats from a mob boss and his super-powered villains.
