Benefits of an iPhone wallet/stand
A wallet that clips to your iPhone means that you only need to keep track of one thing when you’re on the go. I’ve used a variety of these for many years, and can’t imagine going back to a traditional wallet.
Moft’s wallets, no matter the design, connect to the MagSafe magnets in your iPhone to hold on tightly. I can shake the accessory and my iPhone won’t slip off — it’s plenty secure for me.
But that’s only the start of what these accessories can do. Because they’re also travel stands, I’m always ready to watch videos or participate in FaceTime calls without having to hold my handset.
Never lose your wallet because you can track it
Moft’s clip-on iPhone wallet stands are great, but it’s been making them for years. Its new versions stand out with an additional feature that I love: Find My support.
If I misplace one of the test units the company sent me, all I need to do is open the Find My app on my iPhone to set off an audible alarm in the wallet. That lets me quickly find them in, say, a pants pocket in the laundry bin.
And if I really lose the accessory, the Find My app can show me its location on a map. Say I leave it at a friend’s house. I won’t waste time searching my bedroom and car for it — I can just head straight to my wallet.
To be clear, Find My doesn’t use real-time tracking. Moft’s wallet stands need to get near an iPhone or other Apple product to get located. But it’s a system that works surprisingly well. In my previous example, my friend uses an iPhone, so I would immediately be notified of my wallet’s location.

Because you’ll be carrying this accessory everywhere, it can’t be bulky. Moft is an expert at making cases and stands that fold up surprisingly small, and its iPhone wallet stands are no exception.
If portability is your major consideration, then you want the Moft Trackable Snap-on Phone Stand & Wallet. It’s just 2.3 ounces, and at about a quarter of an inch thick, it’s the thinnest trackable wallet on the market. It rides easily in my pocket when connected to my iPhone 17, and goes even better into a back pocket alone.
There’s room for two cards inside. That’s the right amount for me — I carry only a driver’s license and a credit card. But it might not be enough for you.
A stand folds out of the back of the wallet and holds my iPhone 17 leaning backward 30 degrees. I can easily position the screen in landscape or portrait mode.
Moft made the accessory from vegan leather. My review unit is terracotta in color. The other options are misty cove, jet black and blackberry. (I might call those orange, gray, black and purple.)

The slimmer version is the standard model, but there’s also a premium model with all the features packed in. It’s the Moft Trackable Tripod Wallet, and I consider it the “Pro Max” of wallet cases.
It opens like a clamshell to make a standard kickstand that’s adjustable to almost any angle. This kickstand can itself open like a clamshell to make a tripod stand that holds my iPhone 17 up several inches above the table/desk/whatever. Again, the viewing angle of the iPhone’s screen can be adjusted across a wide range, or the handset can be placed in landscape or portrait mode.

Plus, the Moft Trackable Tripod Wallet has another trick. I can flip the kickstand around to the front and it becomes a short selfiestick. There’s even a shutter button so I can take the selfie without touching the iPhone.
This premium version does more than the standard one, but it also weighs more: 3.5 ounces. And it’s thicker, coming in at 0.4 inches. It’s big enough that I generally carried it in a separate pocket from my iPhone — usually only connecting the two when I wanted a stand for the handset.
Again, my vegan leather sample unit is terracotta in color. The other options this time are misty cove and jet black.

Moft trackable iPhone wallet stands review: Final thoughts
After weeks of testing, including taking the accessories on a beach trip, I ended up preferring the Moft Trackable Snap-on Phone Stand & Wallet. The additional features of the Moft Trackable Tripod Wallet are nice, but don’t justify the additional bulk – to me anyway. That said, if you frequently watch video or make FaceTime calls on your iPhone, you may find the premium model a better fit.
