Natural Cycles has launched Sleep Insights, a new feature that brings sleep tracking and menstrual cycle data together in one place. The addition is designed to help users better understand how hormonal changes throughout the month may affect sleep quality, recovery, and overall well-being.
Many sleep-tracking platforms focus on metrics like duration and efficiency without accounting for the menstrual cycle. Natural Cycles aims to provide that missing context by combining wearable data, user feedback, and cycle information into personalized daily insights.
How Sleep Insights Works

The feature starts with a morning check-in, allowing users to log how they slept, including whether they felt rested, experienced restless sleep, or had trouble falling asleep. That feedback is paired with sleep data and fertility status to generate cycle-aware insights inside the app.
Users can view metrics such as sleep duration, timing, and efficiency, along with personalized explanations tied to their current cycle phase. Over time, Sleep Insights can reveal trends that show how sleep patterns may shift across different stages of the menstrual cycle.
Expanding Beyond Fertility Tracking
Sleep Insights will initially be available to users tracking overnight data with the NC° Band or Oura Ring. Natural Cycles says support for Garmin and Apple Watch users is planned after launch.

The feature builds on the NC° Band, Natural Cycles’ wearable introduced earlier this year. By incorporating sleep analysis, the company is broadening its focus from fertility tracking to a wider range of women’s health insights.
Natural Cycles says the launch aligns with its mission of creating health tools designed around women’s biology. The company plans to continue researching the relationship between sleep, reproductive hormones, and overall health as part of its ongoing scientific efforts.
Founded in 2013, Natural Cycles offers a digital health platform that supports contraception, pregnancy planning, pregnancy, postpartum care, and perimenopause. More information about Sleep Insights can be found on the company’s website.
