With brilliant audio quality, adaptive noise cancelling prowess and an almost unbelievable battery life, the Momentum 4 headphones are easily one of our favourite headphones. Plus, thanks to the synthetic leather earcups that slip on impressively comfortably, the headphones can support long-periods of wear.
This comfortable design is paired with a mighty 60-hour battery life, making the headphones undeniably ideal for travelling. They even offer fast charging support, with just 10-minutes plugged in resulting in six hours of listening time.
Another reason that makes the Momentum 4 a brilliant pair for travelling is thanks to its Adaptive Noise Cancellation which handles everything from wind to traffic and even just annoying chatter on the train very well. Alternatively, activate Transparency mode to stay aware of your surroundings and allow outside sounds in.
But how do the headphones actually sound? Our AV expert, Kob Monney, concluded the headphones “furnish music with high levels of clarity and detail, adopting a tone towards the warm side of neutrality and expansive soundstage”. While they naturally have less of an emphasis on bass, you can also personalise sound with the companion Smart Control app which allows you to adjust the EQ based on your preferences.
Overall, Kob awarded the Momentum 4 with a solid 4.5-star rating, and concluded them to be an “excellent pair of wireless headphones that deliver a balanced, neutral presentation, long battery life and very good noise cancellation.”
