Quantum Systems Expands to Estonia – sUAS News

Quantum Systems is expanding its permanent presence in Estonia, deepening its footprint along NATO’s Eastern Flank and strengthening its European ISR software capabilities through multiple M&A’s.

Quantum Systems announced the expansion to Estonia, expanding its permanent presence in Tallinn and further expanding its footprint in the along NATO’s Eastern Flank, where the company is already active in Lithuania.

Quantum Systems also announced the acquisition of SensusQ, an Estonian intelligence software company specialising in advanced data analysis solutions for defence and security applications. SensusQ will become part of Quantum Systems’ in-house software capabilities and strengthen the company’s ISR and analytics offering.

SensusQ develops software that helps defence and security customers process, structure and analyse large volumes of operational data. By integrating this expertise into its software stack, Quantum Systems strengthens its ability to connect unmanned platforms, sensors and analytics into integrated ISR solutions within a sovereign European architecture.

The Tallinn office will serve as the centre of Quantum Systems’ Estonian operations. It brings together local engineering talent, software expertise and additional Estonian capabilities in electro-optical sensors, stabilised payloads and precision ISR.

“Estonia has built an exceptional reputation for engineering excellence, software innovation, and defence technology,” said Martin Karkour, Chief Revenue Officer at Quantum Systems. “With our Tallinn office and our acquisitions, we are strengthening the software and sensor capabilities behind our portfolio. This is an important step for our presence in Estonia, the Baltics and for our ability to deliver integrated European solutions to defence and security customers.”

The expansion follows Quantum Systems’ $1.2 billion Series D financing, announced on 2 July 2026, which supports the company’s industrial scale-up, international expansion and continued investment in software, AI and autonomous systems. The Tallinn office adds another European capability centre to Quantum Systems’ growing organisation and reinforces its long-term commitment to NATO’s Eastern flank.
