The Battery Number Is Now Official

That’s a meaningful correction upward — and it’s one of the largest batteries in any slim non-gaming flagship announced this month. The X300 FE, which launched globally and sits in a similar price corridor, carries 6,500mAh with 100W charging. The X300 E goes bigger on capacity, though the rumored 90W charging speed suggests a different trade-off: more battery, slightly slower fill rate.

At 203g and the dimensions implied by the 6.59-inch display, the X300 E isn’t a heavy phone. Fitting 7,200mAh into that chassis at a weight below the typical gaming phone puts it in interesting territory — closer to the Honor X80 Pro Max philosophy of big battery in a practical body, but with Zeiss camera credentials the Honor doesn’t carry.

Vivo confirmed 7,200mAh and a Zeiss periscope on the same teaser card — two specs that usually don’t coexist outside flagship Ultra territory. The X300 E is making a specific argument about what you actually need from a premium phone day-to-day.

Three Cameras, One Confirmed Partnership

The square camera module housing confirmed in official renders carries Zeiss branding across all three lenses — main, ultrawide, and periscope telephoto. That’s the full Zeiss APO treatment: coating, tuning, and color science applied across the whole system. The 50MP periscope is the headline camera, carrying forward vivo’s Zeiss collaboration that started with the X70 Pro+ and has been a genuine differentiator in color rendering and flare resistance ever since.

The 8MP ultrawide is the one spec worth noting honestly. It’s functional, but it’s a step down from the 50MP ultrawide on the X300 Pro and X300 Ultra. If wide-angle photography is important to you, that gap matters.

The X300 lineup has expanded significantly this year. The standard X300 and X300 Ultra anchor the flagship tier. The X300 FE covers Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 at a more accessible price with global availability. The X300s brought Dimensity 9500 and a 200MP main.
