The federal government has once again increased petroleum prices, announcing fresh hikes in the rates of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD), effective from July 24, 2026.
According to the latest notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the price of petrol has been increased by Rs. 4.44 per litre, taking the new rate to Rs. 331.52 per litre. Meanwhile, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has risen by Rs. 3.62 per litre, bringing it to Rs. 378.66 per litre.
The latest increase comes just one day after fuel prices were revised upward. On July 23, petrol prices were raised by Rs. 6.39 per litre to Rs. 327.12 per litre, while HSD prices increased by Rs. 7.83 per litre to Rs. 375.04 per litre.
Since Pakistan adopted the daily petroleum pricing mechanism, fuel prices have climbed significantly. Petrol has increased by Rs. 20.81 per litre, while diesel has surged by Rs. 55.36 per litre compared to prices before the daily pricing system came into effect.
