I have used the same popular electric toothbrush brand for about five years, so I went into trying the TAO Clean Toothbrush with fairly high expectations. Because it stays damp, it can eventually develop some dirt and buildup. I expected the drying system to keep everything around the brush head cleaner, so seeing moisture and buildup in this area surprised me.
I also needed some time to get used to the button placement on the toothbrush. I occasionally hit the button accidentally while brushing, which either turned the toothbrush off or changed the brushing mode. I eventually adjusted how I held the handle, but I still think the controls could use a little more separation or a different placement.
Neither issue prevents me from using the toothbrush, but both stood out during my testing.
