A few days ago we got our first look at Samsung’s upcoming One UI 9.5, and today the same source is back showcasing more UI changes. The app opening and closing animations are “ridiculously smooth”, at least by Samsung’s standards.
Usually couldn’t care less about app opening/closing benchmarks, but One UI 9.5 is an absolute joy to use.

Samsung has also revamped the fingerprint enrollment UI, as you can see below.

The company has polished the camera app too, bringing us an updated menu container curvature and padding, a subtler background blur on pop-ups, and better icon scaling.

The camera app’s animations have been reworked as well, as you can see in the video below.

Next up, it seems like One UI 9.5 will bring the new Finder and Google Search bar options for the home screen to older devices. This feature launched with the Galaxy Z Fold8, Fold8 Ultra, and Flip8 on One UI 9.0.

Finally, Samsung is also looking to simplify phone mirroring to a PC as the screenshot below shows, but for this to work you will most likely need a Galaxy Book laptop alongside your Galaxy phone.
One UI 9.5 is expected to be the version launching on the Galaxy S27 family early next year, so there’s still plenty of time for more things about it to leak. Stay tuned.
