OpenAI announced it is expanding its ChatGPT Ads service and product to 31 European countries. These countries include Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Austria.
OpenAI explained that advertisers will be able to access ChatGPT Ads through the “OpenAI Ads Solutions team, agency partners, and technology partners.” The “self-service access through Ads Manager will follow later this summer,” OpenAI added.
These ads in Europe will be shown only to users on the Free and Go plans. Plus, Pro, and Enterprise subscriptions will remain ad-free.
“Tens of thousands of marketers have now advertised on ChatGPT, and we continue to improve the platform based on what we learn from people and businesses,” OpenAI wrote.
OpenAI said it “made significant progress in six months, but we are still early in building the full potential of ChatGPT Ads.”
OpenAI launched the self service ad manager in the US back in May after testing it the month prior and announcing it was coming in February of this year.
So now it is rolling out in the European region.
