Last week, we asked you which Pixel 11 model you would buy and now the results are in. The sentiment is trending towards negative with price being a common reason for skipping the 11 series.
Looking at the overall poll, many just aren’t interested in any Pixel 11 model. But those that do want one are mostly leaning towards the Pixel 11 Pro – it almost got more votes than the vanilla and the Pro XL models put together. Almost. The Pro XL is a distant second, while the pricey foldable barely got any love.
Focusing in on the Google Pixel 11 Pro, it received the biggest proportion of positive votes with 1 in 5 voters looking to buy one. Price is the biggest concern, but quite a few people are holding off until the reviews come in before making up their minds.
The larger Google Pixel 11 Pro XL is well liked too. Price remains a primary concern, so some will bide their time until the right deal comes along.
The vanilla Google Pixel 11 may have ranked #3 in the overall poll, but its individual poll shows that there is hope – a bigger proportion of voters is interested in buying one outright than the Pro XL. Also, more people may be swayed by reviews. Still, even though this is the cheapest Pixel 11 model (until the 11a launches), many consider it too expensive.
Last and clearly least, the Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold didn’t generate much interest – even with glowing reviews, we expect that Google will have trouble selling these. Part of this is easy enough to explain – some people just don’t like foldables, period. Them aside, quite a few voters don’t like this particular foldable and would rather get one from a different brand. Better pricing might help, but even then the future isn’t bright for the new Pro Fold.
We are working on testing the new Pixel 11 models, so stay tuned for our findings. If they prove to be meaningfully better than their Pixel 10 counterparts, then maybe some models will become more popular.
