Google Merchant Center warns advertisers about image size requirements

“Google is sending out emails announcing that, effective January 31, 2027, all product images in Google Merchant Center that are smaller than 500 × 500 pixels will be disapproved and will no longer be eligible to serve.”

If you’re running Merchant Center, now’s a good time to go through your product images and make sure everything meets the 500×500 minimum. Nobody wants to find out their listings got disapproved because of an image size they never thought to check.
