Revolutionize Note-Taking with Flowtica’s Scribe + Folio

Flowtica has introduced the Scribe + Folio bundle, pairing its Scribe smart pen with a new refillable notebook designed to bring handwritten notes into the company’s digital workflow. The Folio uses 100% recycled leather and works with the free Flowtica app to convert photographed pages into searchable, shareable notes.

The setup is aimed at professionals who prefer writing by hand but still want their notes organized alongside digital meetings and other captured information. Instead of asking users to abandon paper, Flowtica is trying to make paper behave a little more like a searchable document folder.

Snap a Page and Make it Searchable

Each Flowtica Folio page includes a small mark recognized by the Flowtica app. Users photograph the complete page inside the app, which can then turn the contents into a Memo or follow-up item.

Flowtica says the app brightens, sharpens, and cleans up the captured image without changing the original handwriting. Written notes can then appear alongside meetings captured through Flowtica on a Mac or phone.

The more practical feature is search. Handwriting captured from Folio pages becomes searchable within Flowtica, letting users retrieve notes without flipping through pages or trying to remember which meeting produced that brilliant idea from three Tuesdays ago.

Action items found in the notes can be turned into to-dos, giving the paper notebook a direct path into a digital task workflow.

A Notebook Designed Around The Scribe

The Folio itself uses a traveler’s notebook-style construction, so owners can replace the paper insert rather than the entire cover.

Its Cognac-colored exterior is made from 100% recycled leather, paired with a microfiber-suede lining. A fitted pen strap is sized specifically for the Flowtica Scribe, helping keep the pen attached during travel.

Inside are two card slots and a slim sleeve for items such as receipts, cards, and loose notes. A horizontal elastic band keeps the notebook closed.

The included insert uses ivory 100 gsm paper with roughly 90 pages. Flowtica’s Snap It page template combines dot-grid and ruled layouts. The original insert measures 3.9 x 5.5 inches, though the Folio can accommodate A6 and other common pocket-size inserts.

Folded, the notebook measures 6.5 x 4.7 inches and weighs about 9.2 ounces with an insert installed.

Pricing and Availability

The Flowtica Folio is available starting August 25, 2026. It costs $39 when purchased separately, including an insert, or $29 when bought as part of a Scribe bundle.

The Scribe and Folio bundle is priced at $188. A Complete Set with the Folio costs $238. Replacement inserts are sold separately.

Flowtica positions the system as a bridge between traditional handwriting and its software for organizing meetings, notes, and follow-up tasks. For people who still reach for a pen before opening a notes app, that approach keeps the familiar part of note-taking intact while making the resulting pages considerably easier to find later.
