Google seems to be showing AI Overviews at the top of the search results page when you specifically search for stock price queries – such as for [GOOG stock] or [MSFT stock] and so on. I was able to replicate this myself and it is just weird to show the AI Overview at the top for this queries and it seems to make the search results less relevant.
Len Raleigh notified me of this on X and like I said, I see it as well. This is different from when Gagan Ghotra_ spotted this a couple of months ago. In that case, Google placed the AI Overview below the stock chart, not above the stock chart.
