To commemorate the life of Dolly Parton, Google has released a new easter egg in its search results.
If you search for [Dolly Parton] within Google Search, you will see butterflies come up from the bottom of the screen up through the search results page.
Then a message that reads “We’ll Always Love You” with two hearts and the dates 1946-2026.

Dolly Rebecca Parton is an American singer, songwriter, actress, businesswoman, and philanthropist who has had a 60-year career. A successful crossover artist, she’s prominent in both country and pop music, and has also acted in film and television. Parton released her first album, Hello, I’m Dolly, in 1967 and has recorded 50 studio albums. She passed away yesterday, August 25, 2026, at the age of 80.
