Google Robby Stein posted a simple question on X, asking users what they want in AI Mode.
He wrote: “If you could get one feature shipped right now in AI Mode, what would it be?”
It’s not often Google’s product team asks this directly, but since Stein posted this on X, it’s a good chance for anyone with a feature request to get it in front of someone who can actually act on it.
Here’s what some community members said they want to see in AI Mode:
Barry Schwartz replied: “More and bigger links that really encourage people to click.”
Jeannie Hill replied: “Clearer ways to verify factual information in addition to the Double-Check Response button.”
Mayank Parmar from the Search Engine Watch team replied: “Shorter answers, and more links.”
