Google is rolling out three new travel features within AI Mode in Google Search. These features include track flight prices, view points or miles rates, and book hotels directly within AI Mode, through your conversational search.
Hotel Booking in AI Mode
Google AI Mode will let you not just find a hotel based on your prompts but it can also book the hotel for you directly in AI Mode. You just rell AI Mode your hotel preferences to get a visual list of options, complete with guest reviews and key factors to compare. When you find the hotel that you want to book, select “Continue on Google” to book using Google Pay.
Hotel booking in AI Mode has rolled out in the U.S. in English and will be available over the coming weeks with the following partners: Booking.com, Choice Hotels International, Expedia, Hilton, Hotels.com, IHG Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International, Priceline, Trip.com, and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Google explained.

Flight Price Tracking in AI Mode
Google AI Mode will also let you not just find prices for flights but also let you set up price tracking for those flights. As you know, the price of flights change and it is often smart to watch the prices over time. Google AI Mode can be your AI agent and track those flight prices for you and then send you an alert when the price hits your target.
Google said they get this information “from more than 300 partner airlines and travel sites,” and the feature is “now available in more than 180 countries and territories around the world.”

Points and Mile Rates in AI Mode
Google AI Mode will also let you see the cost of hotels and flights in points or miles using its partners’ data. Google AI Mode will show you how many miles you need to book matching flights.
Google said this is now globally available for Alaska Airlines / Hawaiian Airlines, American Airlines, Choice
Hotels International, Hilton, and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. In the coming weeks, Google will also add support for Accor, Flying Blue, Hyatt, LATAM Airlines, and Lufthansa Group.

Describe what you’re looking for (and the rewards program you have in mind) to see real-time rates directly from our partners. Once you find the option you want, AI Mode links you straight to the airline/hotel site to complete the booking.
