Yahoo continues pushing more AI into its search results. Yahoo previously launched Yahoo Scout within its SERP, and now Yahoo is testing “Top Picks,” which shows products alongside AI-generated summaries. Yahoo’s “People Also Ask” section is also now showing Yahoo Scout-generated summaries.
We spotted these today.

We’ve also seen Yahoo test “Explore AI results with Yahoo Scout” within its SERP, which suggests additional keywords related to the original search query.
This continues a clear pattern of Yahoo building out its own AI-powered search layer, similar to what we’ve seen from Google with AI Overviews and AI Mode, giving users more AI-generated context throughout different parts of the results page.
