Bing is now testing an “Ask follow-up” box within its Copilot/AI Overview results. Previously, this section only included “Read more” and “Read less” buttons, but today we spotted Bing testing a new follow-up question box, similar to what Google has been testing within its own AI Overviews.

Here is how Google’s ‘Ask anything’ box works when a user types a query into the box and hits enter, they’re redirected to AI Mode.

When a user types a question into this box, they’re redirected to the Bing search tab. This mirrors similar behavior on Google’s side typing into the AI Overview follow-up box redirects users into AI Mode.
