Google is bringing the Gemini 3.7 Flash model to AI Mode in Google Search. This is available globally starting today for Google AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers.
Google Search VP of Product Robby Stein confirmed this on X.
Stein wrote: “News Flash: We’re bringing Gemini 3.7 Flash to Search! -> Better at following instructions + understanding your intent, so you get even more helpful responses. -> Rolling out today globally in AI Mode for Google AI Pro & Ultra subs in English. Click the ‘+’ icon to select the model.”
This gives Pro and Ultra subscribers access to a newer, more capable model directly within AI Mode, with Stein noting it’s better at following instructions and understanding user intent which should translate into more accurate and useful responses.
This rollout is currently limited to English and to Pro and Ultra subscribers, so free-tier users won’t have access to this model yet.
