Mijia is getting bigger in Europe

That gap is now starting to close.
Xiaomi has already brought products such as the Mijia Washer Dryer Pro 9kg and Mijia Cross Door Refrigerator 502L to some European markets. At IFA, the company plans to show a much wider range of smart home products and explain how they can all work together.
Here’s the thing, though. Xiaomi isn’t coming to Berlin just to sell a few washing machines.
The company wants to show its full Human × Car × Home plan in Europe. The idea is simple: your phone, watch, home devices and even your car can work together as one system.

Xiaomi makes its IFA debut
IFA 2026 will take place in Berlin from September 4 to September 8, and this will be Xiaomi’s first time at the show. The company will have its own space in Hall 6.2, where it plans to show new products and some of its latest tech.
To be honest, I am surprised Xiaomi waited this long.
The company has one of the biggest smart home ranges in China, but European buyers still get only part of it. Bringing more Mijia products here makes a lot of sense, especially since Xiaomi already has millions of phone and wearable users across Europe.
And that is where Xiaomi has a big advantage. If you already own a Xiaomi phone, watch, TV or robot vacuum, adding more products from the same brand is an easy sell.
Xiaomi wants your whole home
There is a catch, of course. Xiaomi has not confirmed which products will launch in every European country. The Mijia range can change from one market to another, so seeing a product at IFA does not mean you will find it in your local Xiaomi Store the next day.
Still, I like where this is going.
For years, Xiaomi fans in Europe have watched the company launch some of its most interesting home products in China with no global release. IFA 2026 could finally start to change that.
And if Xiaomi brings its usual pricing to larger home appliances, things could get very interesting. Samsung and LG may soon have to worry about Xiaomi outside the smartphone market too.
