Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy S26 FE as the more affordable model in its new S26 lineup. The phone gets Samsung’s new Exynos 2500 chip, One UI 9, and several new camera and software features, while much of the hardware has been carried over from the Galaxy S25 FE. Let’s take a look at the pricing and specifications.

Galaxy S26 FE Specifications

The Galaxy S26 FE has a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 60Hz to 120Hz refresh rate. It reaches up to 1,900 nits of brightness. The phone measures 161.6 x 76.9 x 7.4mm and weighs 193g, slightly heavier than its predecessor despite the same thickness.

Powering the phone is Samsung’s 3nm Exynos 2500, paired with 8GB of RAM. Storage starts at 128GB and goes up to 512GB, with 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 8GB+512GB configurations.

The camera setup remains almost exactly the same. There’s a 50MP 1/1.57-inch f/1.8 main camera with OIS and support for 8K video recording at 30fps. The 8MP 1/4.4-inch f/2.4 telephoto has OIS, 3X optical zoom, and up to 30X digital zoom.

A 12MP 1/3.0-inch f/2.2 ultrawide with a 123-degree field of view completes the rear setup. It can record 4K video, as can the telephoto. The 12MP 1/3.2-inch f/2.2 selfie camera also supports 4K recording. Samsung says the front camera has been improved over the S25 FE, particularly for capturing more in each frame.

Samsung has added a few camera features this year. My FanCam can track a selected person and keep them centered while recording, while Super Steady with Horizontal Lock helps keep videos level during movement. Nightography has also been included for low-light photography.

The 4,900 mAh battery supports 45W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. Samsung says the phone can reach up to 69% in around 30 minutes with a 45W adapter. The adapter is sold separately. Wireless PowerShare is also supported for charging compatible devices from the back of the phone.

Other hardware includes an IP68 rating, 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi Direct, and Bluetooth 5.4. The phone runs Android 17 with One UI 9, making it the first Galaxy S26 series phone to ship with the new software. Samsung is promising seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates.

One UI 9 also adds an updated Now Brief, expanded Now Nudge support, and the ability to search for multiple items in an image through Circle to Search. Samsung has also upgraded Smart Switch, which can transfer things such as passwords, passkeys, call history, accessibility settings, and eSIM data when moving from a compatible Android or iPhone.

The Galaxy S26 FE comes in Blueberry, Graphite, and Pistachio.

Galaxy S26 FE Price in India

Samsung hasn’t announced the Indian price yet. The Galaxy S26 FE starts at $699.99 for the 8GB+128GB variant globally.

Based on previous FE models and the global pricing, the Indian price could land around ₹70,000, although Samsung’s official India pricing will give us the actual figure.

The S26 FE is largely a carryover from last year when it comes to hardware. The Exynos 2500, One UI 9, and new camera software account for most of the changes, while the display, battery, and camera hardware remain very close to the S25 FE.
