Microsoft Bing is now testing sidebar navigation on desktop. Google tested something similar back in 2022, and now shows this for nearly every ecommerce query. It looks like Bing is testing this same approach for ecommerce-related queries as well.
Currently, we’re seeing this appear for “near me” queries tied to ecommerce our search was “laptops sale near me.”

This looks like Bing is following the same approach Google took, showing category filters to help users refine results based on exactly what they’re looking for.
