Use BCU when

• You have many unwanted apps to review in one session.
• Installed-program lists contain stale or damaged entries.

Compatibility note

Likewise, removing leftovers is not a guaranteed speed boost, malware fix, or general repair for Windows. If you suspect malware, use an appropriate security workflow. If Windows is unstable, investigate the actual error or recovery options rather than deleting Registry entries in bulk.
