Bitcoin ETF Inflows Return as Ether Funds See Fresh Outflows

U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) returned to positive territory on Wednesday, recording $32.1 million in net inflows and ending a four-session streak of outflows.

The rebound came after Bitcoin ETFs suffered more than $500 million in combined outflows over four consecutive trading sessions. Despite Bitcoin briefly falling to around $63,300 during U.S. trading hours, investors showed renewed interest in Bitcoin-backed investment products.

According to market data, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs have recorded $29.29 million in net outflows so far this week, while monthly inflows remain positive at approximately $204.7 million. Since their launch, cumulative net inflows across Bitcoin ETFs have reached $51.36 billion.

Meanwhile, spot Ether ETFs moved in the opposite direction, posting $18.65 million in net outflows on Wednesday. However, Ether ETFs continue to outperform Bitcoin ETFs on a monthly basis, attracting around $342.9 million in net inflows during July.

At the time of reporting, Bitcoin was trading near $63,990, down 0.2% over the past 24 hours and 2.5% over the last seven days. Ether was trading around $1,902, also showing weekly weakness.

Market sentiment remained cautious, with the Crypto Fear & Greed Index staying in the “fear” zone at 28, although conditions have improved compared with a month earlier when sentiment was classified as “extreme fear.”

The latest ETF flows suggest institutional investors are showing selective interest in crypto assets, with Bitcoin products seeing a short-term recovery while Ether funds face renewed selling pressure.
