Bitmine Increases Ether Holdings to 5.79 Million ETH Amid Ethereum Rally

Bitmine Immersion Technologies has increased its Ether holdings to 5.79 million ETH, adding nearly 10,000 ETH over the past week as Ethereum continued to outperform Bitcoin in recent market trading.

The company said it now holds approximately 4.8% of Ethereum’s total circulating supply, making it the world’s largest corporate holder of Ether.

According to Bitmine, around 4.9 million ETH, representing nearly 85% of its total holdings, are currently staked through the company’s validator infrastructure. Once all of its Ether is fully deployed across its staking network and partner validators, Bitmine expects to generate approximately $299 million in annualized staking rewards.

As of July 26, the company’s combined crypto holdings, cash, and marketable securities were valued at approximately $11.8 billion.

The latest acquisition comes as Ether (ETH) has outperformed Bitcoin (BTC) over the past week. Market data from CoinGecko shows ETH gained around 2.4% during the seven-day period, while Bitcoin declined by approximately 0.7%.

Bitmine Chairman Tom Lee said the ETH/BTC ratio has reached its highest level in three months, indicating strengthening momentum for Ethereum relative to Bitcoin.

Bitmine has now established the largest corporate Ether treasury globally. Among publicly listed companies, only Strategy holds digital assets with a higher overall value, although its portfolio remains focused on Bitcoin.

Meanwhile, Strategy announced that it raised $544.5 million through stock sales, repurchased $25 million worth of its STRC preferred shares, and increased its U.S. dollar reserves to $3.75 billion, while maintaining its holdings of 843,775 BTC without making additional Bitcoin purchases in recent weeks.
