Exynos 2700 Beats the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and Gen 6 Pro in Internal Benchmarks
The internal tests evaluated CPU, GPU, NPU, and overall power efficiency:
- CPU Performance: The Exynos 2700 achieved a 19% higher multi-core score on Geekbench 6.5 compared to the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, and 9.5% higher than the Elite Gen 6 Pro.
- GPU & Efficiency: At peak output, Samsung’s chip held a 5% advantage over Qualcomm’s Pro variant. Under a strict 2.5W power-limit test, the Exynos GPU scored 22% higher than the Pro and 24% higher than the non-Pro variant.
- Power Draw: During real-world battery simulation tests, the Exynos 2700 consumed 161mA compared to the 185mA drawn by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro—a roughly 12.7% drop in power consumption.
- On-Device AI: Running the Llama 3.1 8B LLM locally, the Exynos 2700 generated answers 18% faster than Qualcomm’s flagship chip.
Saving Money and Winning Back Fans
A competitive Exynos 2700 gives Samsung’s mobile division (MX) significant financial leverage. Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon processors continue to rise in price, making them expensive to source. By equipping more Galaxy devices with in-house Exynos chips, Samsung can cut manufacturing costs and protect its profit margins.

Furthermore, because the Exynos 2700 is reportedly manufactured on Samsung Foundry’s second-generation 2nm Gate-All-Around (SF2P) node, strong performance will double as a vital marketing tool to attract third-party clients to Samsung’s semiconductor foundries.
