FIA Offloads Qatar-Bound Man With Fake Licence

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) immigration officials at Karachi Airport offloaded a passenger traveling to Qatar after intercepting a fraudulent Pakistani driving licence.

As per the details, the passenger, identified as Nauman Shaukat, had presented the licence as proof of employment for a driver position, intending to travel to Qatar for work.

Officials grew suspicious of the document and scanned the QR code printed on the licence, which revealed personal details that did not match verified identity records.

The mismatch between the licence data and the actual identity information confirmed the document was fraudulent, prompting FIA immigration officials to immediately offload him.

Shaukat stated that he had obtained the fake driving licence through a Counter-Terrorism Department official, raising serious concerns about document fraud within law enforcement circles.

Authorities have since transferred Nauman Shaukat to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle, where he will face further legal proceedings in connection with his use of fraudulent travel documents.
