Honor Win 2 Pro Max To Launch in October With Massive 10,000mAh Battery and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6

We’re just one month and a few days away from the reveal of Qualcomm’s next flagship CPUs. For that reason, we expect smartphone OEMs to intensify their efforts on their next flagships. As per new reports, Honor aims to be among the first to unveil a flagship with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6. The device will come under the Honor Win 2 Pro Max moniker and will bring extreme performance combined with a huge 10,000mAh battery.

Honor Win 2 Pro Max Specifications Include Active Cooling Fan and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Series

New details emerged today from the reliable tipster Digital Chat Station. According to him, the Honor Win 2 will feature Qualcomm’s latest 2nm chipset with a massive battery pack. The CPU in question is either the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 or its rumored Pro variant.

With a 2nm architecture, the new CPU is expected to reach new limits in terms of performance and efficiency. However, Honor wants to ensure maximum performance and is going so far as to the point of bringing in an active cooling fan. The fan will improve heat dissipation during demanding tasks such as gaming and video rendering. As a result, the performance will be sustained for a longer period of use.

Active Cooling Fans aren’t entirely new in smartphones; we saw brands like RedMagic using them. Now, it seems that we’re about to see more and more devices bringing it, since the technology seems to be mature enough to keep the sleekness of a conventional phone.

A Massive 10,000mAh Battery

Another highlight in the Honor Win 2 Pro Max is the massive 10,000mAh battery. So this is a powerful combination; after all, the phone has an efficient processor that delivers maximum performance, aided by active cooling and also a large battery. Even in extreme circumstances, it should be hard to drain this battery.

The phone will also feature a 2K+ resolution with an 185Hz refresh rate. As per reports, the beefier variant will be called Honor Win 2 Pro Max, while an Honor Win 2 Pro will come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. In fact, the brand is expected to launch three models.

The specs are promising, but we expect the phone to be more than its predecessor. After all, the rising cost of components can make the next flagships more expensive. We expect more details to appear in the coming weeks, as the rumors point to an October release.
