A UFO camera?
The module reportedly holds three rear cameras. Unlike the iQOO 15, the sensors are not simply placed in separate circles. Two pill-shaped sections connect the cameras inside the module, creating a much more unusual look.
There also seems to be extra texture and detailing around the camera frame. The black version is even rumored to include blue accent lighting around the camera island. That gives the phone a clear gaming vibe, which makes sense for iQOO.

The rounded edges around the phone also add to the futuristic design. Some people have already compared it to a UFO, and it’s honestly not hard to see why.
Of course, these are still leaked renders. The final design could change before the official launch. Still, multiple reports are pointing to the same general design.
Specs
The iQOO 16 is also expected to bring some serious hardware. Early leaks suggest three 50MP cameras, including a main sensor, an ultrawide camera, and a periscope telephoto lens.
The phone could also feature a huge 6.85-inch 2K display with a 165Hz refresh rate. Power may come from Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chip.
Battery life could be another big highlight. Rumors point to an 8,500mAh battery with support for 100W wired and wireless charging.
Interestingly, the iQOO 16 might not launch alone. The company’s product manager has also started teasing a compact tablet that could arrive alongside the new flagship.
If that happens, iQOO could be preparing for a much bigger launch than usual.
