The agreement enables JioStar to distribute its channels reliably to cable, DTH and broadcast distribution networks across the region, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery to millions of households. By transitioning its services to SES’s IS-20 satellite, JioStar benefits from a resilient and future-ready broadcast platform with extensive coverage across India and South Asia.
IS-20 is part of SES’s established video neighborhood serving broadcasters, media companies, telecom operators and government customers across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region. Its advanced digital payload enhances service resilience while providing flexible C-band and Ku-band delivery capabilities for diverse broadcast and connectivity applications.
