Which explains why La Marca’s popularity has soared now that the Italian beverage (which is 50% prosecco) has become a summer staple around the world. Not only that, spritzes aren’t one flavor anymore. Going beyond orange, creative spritzes a popping up in a rainbow of colors everywhere.
People are recreating the simple, yet delicious format for themselves at home. Here’s a quick how-to for creating your very own spritz:
1. Start with La Marca Prosecco — (3 oz) is the ideal ratio for a spritz
2. Select a Citrus — Lemon, grapefruit, lime, etc.
3. Choose a Modifier — 2 oz of a flavored liqueur or aperitivo. Follow with 1 oz club soda
4. Garnish as You Wish — Mint, citrus peel, flower, etc.

Amici Spritz
3 oz. La Marca Prosecco
1 ½ oz. gin
¾ oz. lemon juice
¾ oz. honey syrup
METHOD: Muddle the lemon slices and shake all ingredients except La Marca. Strain into a spritz glass while simultaneously pouring in your Prosecco. Garnish your gin cocktail with lemon slice.
Basil Spritz
4 basil leaves
½ oz. lemon juice
1 oz. vodka
½ oz. simple syrup
3-4 oz. La Marca Prosecco
Lemon twist and basil for garnish
METHOD: Muddle three basil leaves with lemon juice and simple syrup inside a cocktail shaker. Add the vodka to the shaker and fill it halfway with ice before shaking for 20 seconds. Then fill a glass with ice and strain the mixture into the glass. Top with La Marca Prosecco and stir gently to combine. Garnish with lemon twist and the remaining basil leaf.
