Oppo has officially announced that the Reno 16 series will launch globally on June 25. The company started teasing the upcoming smartphones earlier this week, but did not reveal a launch date at the time. It has now been confirmed that the devices will debut first in Thailand and Spain before expanding to other markets.
The Reno 16 series brings a fresh design approach called the “3D Pop Planet Design.” According to the company, the design takes inspiration from cosmic visuals and reflects the idea that every person is like a vibrant little planet. The company says this new look gives the smartphones a bold and distinctive appearance.
Ling Liu, Oppo’s Overseas Chief Marketing Officer, said, “As Reno continues to evolve, we are focused on creating smartphones that combine powerful technology with individuality and creative expression. The Reno 16 Series reflects this vision through its distinctive design language and new AI-powered creative experiences.”
Although Oppo has confirmed the global launch, the company has not shared full specifications for the international models. However, reports suggest that the global Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro may differ from the Chinese variants that launched in May.
For now, it remains unclear how many changes Oppo will make to the global versions. More details are expected when the Reno 16 series officially debuts on June 25.
