Google is aware of and in the process of addressing an issue where reviews are missing after a Google Business Profile gets reinstated after it was suspended. Google is reportedly actively working on a resolution but there is no estimated time for when that resolution will take place.
Amy Toman posted about this on LinkedIn and said, “If you’ve recently had a suspended GBP reinstated, you might have noticed a frustrating issue: the profile is live, but the reviews are missing.”
She made these several points:
- Google is aware: This is an acknowledged problem.
- Fix in progress: Google is actively working on a resolution.
- No official timeline: There is currently no resolution time announced.
- Action Item: If you have access to the support ticket, reply directly to the email to notify Support that the reviews are missing. This keeps your issue documented and attached to your original case.
I don’t think this is related to the July reviews go missing topic, but I am not sure.
