49 Devices in the Testing Pipeline
That’s a wider net than you might expect. And to be clear, internal testing doesn’t guarantee a stable update or even a public beta invitation. It just means Samsung’s engineers are actively validating builds on those devices — which is how the company manages to push updates relatively quickly once the stable rollout begins.
Samsung is internally testing One UI 9.0 on 49 Galaxy devices — spanning the S23 through S25 series, six foldable models, a broad range of A-series phones, and over a dozen tablets — while the public beta remains limited to the Galaxy S26 lineup.

Tablets Are in the Mix Too
Tab coverage is solid. The Galaxy Tab S11, Tab S11 Ultra, the entire Tab S10 family (including FE, FE+, and Lite variants), and even the Tab S9 trio are all being tested. The Tab A11 and the aging Tab S6 Lite round out the slate side.
That last one might surprise people — the S6 Lite has been around for a while. Its inclusion here is either a positive sign or simply precautionary. Hard to say.
Public Beta Is Likely Expanding Soon
The S26 series currently holds the public beta exclusively, but that’s probably a temporary arrangement. Reports suggest Samsung is preparing to open the One UI 9.0 beta to Galaxy S25 owners as well. No official confirmation yet — but with internal testing this far along, it wouldn’t be a stretch.
Samsung will presumably continue adding devices to its internal test pool as development progresses.
