iClever has announced the Q950, a new pair of kids’ headphones designed around safer listening, comfort, and everyday durability. The company says the Q950 is the world’s first children’s headphone model to receive TÜV Rheinland Hearing Care Certification, giving parents another way to think about audio gear beyond the usual “does it get too loud?” checklist.

A Hearing-First Approach to Kids’ Audio
The Q950 builds on the familiar idea of volume-limited headphones but takes a broader approach to hearing care. According to iClever, TÜV Rheinland evaluated the headphones across four areas: safe listening, acoustic performance, adaptive audio care, and active hearing care.
At the center of that design is iClever’s SafeSound technology, which limits volume to 80 dBA. The headphones pair that with Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation rated for up to 35 dB of noise reduction. The goal is simple enough: help kids hear their music, videos, lessons, or audiobooks more clearly without cranking the volume to tiny-concert levels.
That could make the Q950 useful for families dealing with travel, classrooms, road trips, or other noisy environments where kids may be tempted to raise the volume. iClever says the headphones also support active noise cancellation in AUX wired mode, a feature the company describes as uncommon in children’s headphones.
Built for Travel, School, and Daily Use
The Q950 includes several convenience features aimed at modern family use. Wear Detection can automatically pause and resume playback, Transparency Mode lets outside sound in when needed, and Bluetooth Audio Sharing gives families a way to connect around shared listening.
Battery life is rated at up to 60 hours, which should help the headphones survive long stretches between charges. That matters when gear gets tossed into backpacks, packed for flights, or mysteriously disappears under a couch cushion until Sunday night.
iClever also designed the Q950 with comfort and adjustability in mind. The headphones feature a multi-position adjustable headband for growing kids, breathable protein-leather ear cushions, sponge padding, and 90-degree rotating ear cups. Large controls are included to make operation easier for children.
