vivo unveiled its latest flagship foldable, the vivo X Fold6, in China last week. While the company didn’t mention an international release during the launch, it has now confirmed that the device will make its way to global markets.
In a statement to Android Authority, vivo confirmed that the X Fold6 will launch globally.
The company did not reveal a launch timeline or the list of markets, but said that more details regarding availability will be announced soon.
Notably, the vivo X Fold5 launched in China before making its way to select Southeast Asian markets. Whether the X Fold6 follows the same rollout strategy or also makes its way to Europe remains to be seen.
The vivo X Fold6 offers a Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chipset, a 7,000mAh battery, a 200MP main rear camera, support for a teleconverter, a 6.5-inch cover screen, and an 8.02-inch main display.
