I have a folder of photos in the Files app, created from a zip file that I downloaded and expanded.
When I expanded the zip file, all the photos appeared in the Files app folder alphabetically, and by creation date, which is the desired outcome (the order of the photos is important, as I need to upload them to social media in that order).

However when I select all the photos and click "Save Images" to move them to the Photos app (since I cannot upload to social media from the Files app), they end up in the Photos roll in a disorderly, chaotic way.
⬆️ The middle thumbnail is the same photo as seen on the right in the first screenshot, now seen within the Photos app, mismatching with neighboring photos and in a seemingly random (or at least not user-defined) order
My guess is that the photos get transferred from one app to the other based on another criteria than creation date or file name?
This is very frustrating, since I do this very often and I don’t want to get the order wrong, and I wonder how I can rearrange them to the proper order in the Photos app.
