Google is testing a new way to ask follow-up questions in AI Mode, displaying them in a table format based on the user’s original query.
Here is a screenshot of this. We searched for “SEO,” and at the bottom, Google suggested a follow-up question in table format along with a “Skip” button.

After submitting an answer, AI Mode generated a new query within the same chat based on the response.
Here is a screenshot of that follow-up query.
Here is the desktop view.

This looks like an attempt to make AI Mode feel more conversational and guided, helping narrow down what the user is actually looking for without requiring them to manually type out a more specific follow-up question themselves.
