Pakistan Railways Restores Bulleh Shah Passenger Train From July 17


Pakistan Railways has announced the restoration of the Bulleh Shah Passenger Train service between Lahore and Pakpattan via Kasur, with operations set to resume from July 17.

The daily train service has been reinstated to improve travel facilities and enhance connectivity for passengers traveling between Lahore, Kasur, Raiwind, Kot Lakhpat, and Pakpattan.

According to Pakistan Railways, the train will depart Pakpattan at 5:00 a.m. and arrive in Lahore at 10:50 a.m. On its return journey, it will leave Lahore at 4:00 p.m. and reach Pakpattan at 9:30 p.m.

The restored service will pass through Kasur, Raiwind, and Kot Lakhpat, reconnecting passengers with major destinations along the route and providing an affordable travel option for daily commuters and other travelers.

Pakistan Railways said the Bulleh Shah Passenger Train will consist of five economy-class coaches and one power van, aiming to improve passenger convenience and support public transportation across the region.

The restoration of the service is part of the railway’s ongoing efforts to strengthen regional connectivity and enhance travel facilities for passengers.
